HOW UPNEEQ WORKS
It’s “the drop that uplifts”
UPNEEQ is the first and only FDA-approved topical medication that is designed to lift eyelids affected by acquired blepharoptosis (droopy eyelid).1
UPNEEQ improves field of vision…
Patients can experience improvement by putting just one drop of UPNEEQ in each affected eye, once a day, every day. In clinical trials, patients had significant improvement at 6 hours after applying UPNEEQ.1
…And lifts eyelids fast
Patients may see visible improvement in the position of their eyelid quickly after applying the first dose of UPNEEQ!1
Each day’s dose of UPNEEQ comes in a foil-wrapped, single-dose vial that is preservative-free.1
Each vial contains enough UPNEEQ solution to allow for one drop in each affected eye. UPNEEQ is designed to only be applied as an eyedrop. The solution should never be swallowed or ingested in any other way. UPNEEQ should only be used as directed.1
How to Apply UPNEEQ
Place one drop of UPNEEQ in affected eye or eyes1
- Do NOT touch eye with the tip of the vial
- Once the drops have been applied, immediately throw the vial away
- Vials should not be re-used after opening
Patients should not touch the tip of the single patient-use container to their eye or to any surface, in order to avoid eye injury or contamination of the solution.
If contact lenses are also worn, they should be removed before applying UPNEEQ drops. Contact lenses can be put back 15 minutes after applying UPNEEQ drops.
If more than one topical ophthalmic drug is being used for a given day, the drugs should be administered at least 15 minutes between applications.1
Store your unused UPNEEQ vials at room temperature: 68°F-77°F (20°C-25°C).
Protect them from excessive heat. Keep them out of the reach of children.1
